“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty” (Revelation 1:8 ESV).
When Jesus entered our world on that very first Christmas, he came in the most peculiar of ways. He came as a gentle infant, crying, burping, and grasping his mother’s finger as his only scepter.
Jesus arrived as a baby. It would take years before he was ready and able to learn the alphabet. Yet the infant Jesus was already the Alpha and the Omega—the Almighty!
Every rolling hill, jagged mountain, inky sea, and billowy cloud sprang into existence at his word. This same Almighty Jesus speaks powerful words to you:
“Come to me.”
“Your sins are forgiven.”
“I am with you always.”
God has given you an awesome gift by sending almighty Jesus to be your Savior.
Pray This Lord, I marvel at your almighty power and majestic love . . .
