This bestseller has been updated with a fresh new feel and look. The book has been upgraded to a larger size that makes it easier to hold while reading. The new size, the fresh design, and the new soft-touch feel will enhance the readability of this encouraging book.
The funeral ends, but the fog of grief lingers. The heartache continues, and so do the tears. But don’t miss what also remains - hope. Hope through Jesus Christ. It’s not mere wishful thinking, but the sure and certain hope given by the One who embodies the gift. Jesus is your hope, even in your grief. This 64-page, full-color softcover grieving book, Grieving with Hope: Leaning on Jesus poignantly and compassionately presents God’s gift of hope. Its words of encouragement, hope-filled Scripture, and heartfelt prayers will surely bring comfort and bless all those traveling through a season of grief.
The books are great. We send them to any and all who are grieving and we get many thanks for these books. Please keep making them available. Thank you.
My fellow Facilitators and I wanted something special to give our GriefShare members on the last day of their session. 'Grieving with Hope' was one of the best gifts we could have given. We received many compliments as a result of this book and made the last day a very special one for everyone.
I have been buying the Grieving with Hope books for years, have probably given 100+, and people have raved about how comforting they have been to them.
I am so disappointed with the new format. To me, it takes away from the dignity of the writings.
Also, the cover - both front and back. Maybe I'm not observant enough, but to me the new one is nondescript. The original, depicting going through a dark patch, with light ahead is very meaningful.
All in all, the new book to me looks like whatever. The original truly is like something original and inviting.
I have given one new one. Sure wish I could send the other nine back and replace them with originals.
Thanks for your attention,
Carol, thanks for letting us know of your disappointment. We're sorry to hear that. We had a need to increase the font size for older readers, and that, along with wanting to add a more soothing feel to the book with the soft-touch cover, led us to make the changes. May God continue to bless you as you care for grieving hearts. We thank him for your ministry in this area.
