Nice little book to have on hand

"The preschool director and I director of children's ministries are happy with having a little something to give to children/families that are grieving a loss and just NEED something. This book offers things for different ages not all of it is appropriate for all ages but a family member or friend can take a child through appropriate spots as deemed necessary or helpful. We especially liked the pages where a child can let out feelings through writings or pictures and the explanations for the most part, are pleasant and helpful."
Grief for children

"Great book for helping children deal with grief. Helpful for a variety of ages, parents can use this with younger children by reading it to them and letting the child draw how they're feeling."

After the death of our 10 year old daughter, we bought these to pass out to her friends, cousins and to walk through with our younger children. It has been a blessing to us & has helped to navigate areas that are otherwise difficult to know how to address in difficult times like this. I am back again to order more for people I come into contact with who are leading their children through a season of grieving. Thanks CTA, I haven't been able to find a product like this anywhere else!
Great Grief Resource

This is a great journal / booklet that addresses grief well but not in an overly juvenile way. I've been able to give this to families who have lost a grandparent, but also to adults who are grieving. I like that it is a stand alone resource and does not depend on certain characters to tell the stories. The activities have been helpful for those who use the booklet. Great economical yet well done resource to have on hand as the need arises.
A very useful tool

Our family visited a First Nations community in NW Ontario. This booklet was very helpful when we talked to children who had lost friends, cousins to suicide. It helped them express themselves, I especially liked the focus on remembering the positive things and also acknowledging the people that they still have who love them.
Excellent for kids

I have given this book out many times to children who are grieving, or have questions about heaven and death. It has brought comfort to all of them, and parents appreciate the resource.

I purchased 1 booklet to see what it looked like initially. I loved how it addresses grief and loss from a child's perspective and give tools to help them cope. I ordered another dozen and have given them to children who have had to say goodbye to their grandparents. My young niece was reading her booklet the morning of her grandmother's funeral and decided to share a Bible verse she found in the booklet at the funeral. What a blessing to know that Jesus has gone before us to prepare a place for us in Heaven!!
