FREE Family Advent Devotions - Christ the Savior is Born

By Kathryn Featherstone

There are many things that vie for our attention during the Christmas season - cookies, gifts, concerts, parties - we could go on and on! Now is the time to encourage families in your church to devote time to remembering who we really celebrate this Christmas season.

CTA makes it easy! With a new theme, Christ the Savior Is Born, you can download four weeks of FREE Christmas devotions, plus FREE take-home sheets for the children in your ministry. The devotions are perfect to use in Sunday school, during a weekly family night at church, or in the nursery during a mom’s group. Be sure to kick off your Christ the Savior Is Born experience by the end of November so that families are ready to start “counting up” to Christmas on December 1!

CTA created these devotions to accompany the Christ the Savior Is Born Count-Up-to-Christmas Activity Card. The card includes a sticker for each day from December 1 to December 25. But before the children put a sticker on the card each day, they are encouraged to do a special activity with their family. Daily activities include singing songs, reading Bible passages, simple community outreach, and kid-friendly conversation starters. The Count-Up-to-Christmas Activity Card is engaging and Christ-centered - exactly what families need in order to have meaningful time together and keep their focus on Jesus this Christmas season.

When adults model faith, children grow in faith. CTA is proud to be your partner in family ministry this Christmas season. May each family in your ministry be drawn closer to Jesus during this time!
