Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6–7 ESV).
Philippians 4 offers two specific, practical remedies for worry:
- Ask for what you need (supplication).
- Thank God for the help that is on the way.
With that in mind, jot down a current worry—large or small. Then, take the time to write about that worry. Imagine your heavenly Father looking over your shoulder, reading the requests you are making and the thanks you are giving.
