Over the past several years, movies have featured Batman, Captain America, Superman, Cat Woman, Iron Man, and Green Lantern, just to name a few warriors. We enjoy watching the good guys and gals win the day, even though we know these warriors come straight from the imaginations of ordinary humans much like ourselves.
What if the warriors were real? Flesh-and-blood men and women who demonstrated bravery in the face of looming disaster? That’s what makes CTA’s latest children’s event theme so appealing. Warriors of Faith will draw kids in and make adults eager to teach! Here’s why: when coming up with the event’s content, CTA’s writers scoured the Scriptures to find faith warriors, ordinary men and women, who have done extraordinary things! Not with their own power, but through God’s power at work within them. Each and every event is focused on God’s work through his children!
The Warriors of Faith event outline will guide you through five full events. Each section showcases one Biblical faith warrior and includes all of the planning details you need for a successful children’s event for kids ages 3 to 11. One of the best things about the Warriors of Faith event outline is the flexibility! The five sections contain non-sequential Biblical warriors, so they may be presented in any order you wish. Each event is crafted for further flexibility: you can use the outlines for a one-time, hour-long event, or expand each section to three hours of engaging fun, with Bible learning, games, snacks, crafts, and more!
In this event outline, you’ll see exactly how you can teach kids about faith warriors of the past and encourage the kids to become modern-day warriors through faith in Jesus. Children attending your event will learn that they, too, can do great things with Jesus’ love and forgiveness in their hearts!
