Now is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2 ESV).
Waiting for Christmas. For many children, it’s the hardest challenge of every childhood year. The hours creep by ever so s-l-o-w-l-y.
But if the Bible is to be believed (and it is!), we don’t have to wait for the blessings of Christmas. We can unwrap God’s magnificent gifts and use them in our lives right this very minute!
Today (and every day) is Christmas Day. “Now is the day of salvation,” Paul assures us. Now our sins are forgiven. Now we have peace with God. Now our shame and guilt are gone. Now we are able to love others as Christ has loved us. Right now!
Today, let the Christmas decorations you see on earth today remind you that in heaven, the celebration of Christmas never ends. You can join in! (Right now!)
