- The new Christ the Savior is Born children's book is an amazing retelling of the Christmas story! Everyday phrases in the book have a way of connecting today's families with Mary and Joseph. I love the phrase "they clung to God's plan as they trusted and prayed." It makes the birth of our Savior so real! Deb Kreienkamp, Christ Community Lutheran School
- “I am the Director of the Day Care and our midweek “Kid’s Challenge” evening ministry for Elementary age children. Each year we have a Christmas program and give the children gifts. This year we used the “Joy for the World” theme and products. It was very convenient; a one stop shop! At the end of the program we gave the children the books and magnets in the large goodie bags. Everything matched and went together. It was GREAT!” T Lutterman, First Christian Church, Summitville IN
- “CTA's seasonal helps are a wonderful addition to our worship ministry
here at Prince of Peace. Last Christmas' "Joy for the World" line helped
give shape to our 5 p.m. Family Children’s Service; and the PowerPoint provided a basic outline for the sermon in the later candlelight
service. CTA provides more resources than I can ever use, and what a
joy to "pick and choose!"
I have used the children's materials many times, materials for Mother's
Day and Father's Day, and am pleased with the quality and appropriateness of
the gifts we use as handouts. It's great to have relevant gifts; not breakable trinkets, to hand out to the worshipers! Thanks again for your partnership!” Rev. D Wehrspann, Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Portland, OR
- "We use many of CTA’s products at Christmas time like magnets and ornaments to make up our own gift bags that include home baked cookies and fruit. We go caroling in the community and hand these out at Senior Centers and Nursing Homes. We receive calls the next day from the community thanking us. The Ornaments of Faith are GREAT! Your products are great and always give a good message!" S. Wesley, Bowie, TX
- "Thank you for providing such beautiful, inspirational Christmas cards. I am a neuromuscular physiotherapist and have found that giving Ornaments of Faith cards to my clients is a great way to bring attention to the real meaning of Christmas and initiate a faith-based conversation. One of my clients even said, "It must be nice to have something as comforting as a strong faith in times of trouble. I wish I had that." This offers me an opportunity to share the message of Christ with them." Anya Clowers, RN
- “I am SO excited about the new Joy For the World CD. It is a wonderful and simple program! I printed it off so I could go thru it - I'm a very visual learner and I love paper - and I hope that I can make this fly! Also, the CD was VERY easy to work with which is important to me because I am electronically challenged!
I love you guys, your products, newsletters, etc. YOU ROCK!! Thanks for all you do! M. Bryan, SS Superintendent, Peace Lutheran Church, St. Louis, MO"
- “I just received the Christmas Joy For the World CD-ROM and wanted to let you know that this is wonderful! I noticed the ease of use right away ... locating resources and making changes was a breeze. Everything was contained where I expected it. I didn't have to search and find ... my time was not wasted. You also help the vision for our ministry when your theme is repeated in multiple products, i.e. Teachers Touch Eternity. They love it! It's like a strong foundation built in layers, i.e. bulletin, treat sacks, mugs. I hope you will continue to provide these programs, maybe for other holidays, i.e. Easter, Fourth of July. Including children is what we're all about!!! W. Wickel, SS Superintendent, St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg, Burton, TX"
- "Each year our Pastor and his wife send a Christmas greeting to our membership. When I saw the Crib to the Cross Dimensional Greeting Card CTCOGC in the catalog, I recommended it to him. He liked the idea and it would be something different. I felt the message was portrayed very well and would be very beneficial for our knowledge, remembering that Jesus is the reason for the season. The membership thought it was a great message and liked the idea of the ornament as a keepsake for them.
Jacqueline H., Administrative Assistant, First Baptist Church, Washington DC"
- "At our Christmas Eve worship, we used a PowerPoint presentation, incorporating the One Night in Bethlehem book throughtout the service and also included 'take home' items to extend the worship experience for the families. It was AWESOME! We scanned the pictures and put them on the screens so parents and children knew when to turn the page. The story was read to them while they followed along in their own books. The Gospel lesson immediately followed the book, taken directly from the back of the book. It worked wonderfully!
DeAnn M, DCM, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Urbandale, IA"
