In our profession we witness the many different needs of families experiencing loss. Our greatest ministry comes in bringing both closure and, when possible, hope. We have given the "Grieving with Hope Leaning on Jesus" booklets to people from all walks of life, and in all stages of spiritual development. We find the book profoundly thought provoking of God's goodness and love yet, simplistic enough for believers and non-believers alike to benefit from his word. It's an excellent opportunity to witness to people who need it most. Many of our families request additional copies, and the material has fast become our most popular source of written encouragement.

"Once again Tim Wesemann comes through with a creatively written response to the most difficult situation in life: the death of a loved one. He finds just the right words where many of us find it very difficult to do so. This book is a perfect way to provide an ongoing ministry to those who are grieving."

Grieving with Hope acknowledges with gentleness and compassion the emotions a person experiences with the death of a loved one. During a time when even little things seem overwhelming, this book walks alongside someone with the simple truths of God's Word. In a society where people often feel pressure to quickly "move on" in their grief, this book gives permission to experience it, recognizing the pain and sorrow, while sharing hope and promise we have in Jesus."

Grief is inevitable. Grieving well is not. Grieving with Hope: Leaning on Jesus shines a light along this difficult path and provides the kind of spiritual and emotional encouragement needed on this painful journey. Chalked full of relevant Scripture passages, authentic prayers, and insightful reflections, this small book cuts through the clutter so often accompanying grief and provides helpful perspective to the broken hearted when it is most desperately needed. Both as a minister and professional counselor, I highly recommend it to anyone who has encountered the loss of a loved one.

I would definitely recommend CTA to my fellow DCE's here in Nebraska District. I continue to use your materials and find them most helpful. I really appreciate the book called 'Grieving with Hope'. I have given quite a few of those as sympathy cards, much better than a card. You are most creative, and I look forward to seeing new products (as well as the old) in the future.

I found Grieving with Hope - Leaning on Jesus to be very up-lifting and beautifully illustrated. I'm passing my book on to a friend who just lost her son. I'm sure it will help her at this time of sorrow.

My friend's husband was a pastor and died suddenly at only 58 years of age.†The Grieving with Hope ... Leaning on Jesus book meant so much to her because†it's small enough to read in one sitting or as one goes through the stages of grief.† It also speaks exactly to what you are feeling at each stage.

"Grieving with Hope: Leaning on Jesus is one of the finest and most scripturally comprehensive booklets I've encountered to help Christians to understand and face one of life's most challenging experiences: grief. Mr. Wesemann addresses the issue of grief, and all its multiple aspects, in a very straight forward, compassionate, AND helpful manner, speaking to the necessity of going THROUGH grief and not around it."

I have done a lot of reading since my wife went home to be with her LORD. But in the first few short pages I read, I knew this was something special, and it seemed like it was just written for me. Tell your people what a blessing this book is. . . . During these dark days of our lives, we need these words and prayers. God Bless You and Your Staff.
Theodore I wish to commend you on such an excellent booklet. It is better than a sympathy card but priced within that range. Each page has extremely helpful Scripture and prayers that speak to people's hearts without being "preachy." I purchase 3 or 4 at a time as amongst the social work and counseling I do there is much grief counseling. I find within a 2-month period I urgently need to buy more. All of the feedback I have received has been extremely positive. Keep printing them -they are a great resource.
